Lwamba, who previously played for Tafic FC in Botswana, had an outstanding season at his former club, where he won the Player of the Season award and finished as the top goalscorer with 15 goals. He joined Tafic FC at the start of the 2024/2025 season.
When he moved to Durban City, Lwamba still had one season remaining on his contract with Tafic.
Over the weekend, Lwamba made his debut for Durban City in the KZN Premier's Cup, where the team faced Richards Bay and lost 1-0 in the final.

KickOff understands, Lwamba, who is also capable of playing as a winger, has signed a three-year deal with the Durban-based club.
"I'm impressed with Lwamba; he is a good player, and I believe he will be a valuable addition to our team. However, he still has a lot to prove, and I am doing my best to help him," Hunt tells KickOff.
Durban City will begin their 2024/2025 Betway Premiership campaign with an away match against TS Galaxy at Mbombela Stadium.
