Former Bafana Bafana head coach Augusto Palacios has expressed his confidence in the South African women's senior national team, Banyana Banyana, to overcome their longstanding rivals, Nigeria, in tonight's match.
Banyana Banyana will face Nigeria at the Stade Larbi Zaouli in the semi-finals of the WAFCON tournament currently taking place in Morocco.
The Super Falcons have not lost a match in this year's tournament.

Palacios believes Banyana Banyana possesses the skills and determination necessary to triumph over Nigeria.
"I think both teams are in for a tough match today. Despite Nigeria's unbeaten streak, it will be challenging for both sides," Palacios tells KickOff.
"What Banyana Banyana needs to do is stay focused throughout the tournament. They shouldn’t dwell on the rivalry with Nigeria. Instead, they should play the game, not the occasion.
"They shouldn't go into the match thinking about avenging Bafana Bafana, who were knocked out by the Super Eagles in the men's AFCON semi-finals.
"If they start focusing too much on Nigeria, they will lose concentration. They must play to defend their title, and I believe we have the players, skills, and ability to succeed," he added.

"It's encouraging that Banyana Banyana have shown resilience in previous matches, coming from behind to win. I think experience will be key in deciding the outcome of this match.
"Making it to the semi-finals means that both teams are strong and deserving.
"So, for me, tonight's match is as good as won. We are going to the final."
