Mamelodi Sundowns will begin preparations for the new season faced with considerations to make regarding the future of leading striker Peter Shalulile.
The Namibian joined the club in 2020 from Highlands Park and has, for the most part, been the go-to man for goals.
He has since gone on to join the 100 PSL goals club, an elite list that includes former Sundowns hitman Daniel Mudau as well as the likes of Pollen Ndlanya and Siyabonga Nomvethe, who both did duty for Kaizer Chiefs, amongst others.

Recent talk in the media has been that the hard-running marksman is currently a free agent with no new contract signed at the Chloorkop-based outfit.
Whether the fact he only made a 13-minute appearance at the FIFA Club World Cup was an indication head coach Miguel Cardoso has been preparing for life without Shalulile in attack remains to be seen.
However, KickOff.com can reveal that the player’s deal only expires in June next year, meaning he is free to sign a pre-contract with another club as from January.
Furthermore, it has come to the attention of this website, via impeccable sources, that the 31-year-old is open to a fresh challenge, having won several trophies while on the books of The Brazilians.
It is understood that the prospects of Shalulile turning out in the club’s colours in the new season remain slim, and that if a viable opportunity were to present itself, the Namibian and his camp will seriously consider it.
That means the player and club face a crucial few months ahead, should the plan be to keep him.

Whether Sundowns are willing to part ways with one of their leading strikers is an entirely different story, and according to sources, talks between the two parties are ongoing.
The defending champions have Iqraam Rayners, Arthur Sales, and Lebo Mothiba as their other options up front, while there is uncertainty regarding Etiosa Ighodaro, who returns from a loan spell with AmaZulu FC.
