Orlando Pirates coach Milutin Sredojevic was not entirely happy with Telkom Knockout win

“We entered the match to win it. We had a problem at halftime because Augustine Mulenga got injured and we needed to replace him and was almost our main threat in the first half," Sredojevic told SuperSport TV.

“We were not that much threatening but dominating. But domination is not threatening. On halftime, we agreed to go for the kill because in cup games nothing is for free chances is for everyone,”

The Serbian conceded the instruction to the team was to defend with possession intact and rued the numerous turnovers that came their way

“We played a good organised team. Important for us, in the balance situation we scored the goal. Later on, subconscious the wait of expectations and desire to drop back allowed the opponent to come at us and we just sit back which wasn’t the instruction but it was subconscious.

“The instruction was to defend with possession. We made many turnovers and allowed the opponent chances.

“Later on, we succeeded it to conclude the game the way we wanted but there are so many things to be corrected. But the most important was that we passes through,” Sredojevic said.
