Chiefs are the home team but decided to take this match to Durban where AmaZulu operate instead of hosting at FNB Stadium.
Amakhosi have previously staged games at Moses Mabhida to bolster their nationwide support.
"We are not giving away our advantage. Durban is our home away from home. For them they might take it as positive that they won't get to travel, that they will be playing at home," Tshabalala said.
"But for us it is one of those games of going back to Durban and doing the business. Last time we were there, things did not work out right. However, this is a new opportunity in the Telkom Knockout so we still have to play.
"Even if we had to play in Polokwane we still have to play and to be in the right frame of mind, to be professional and do the business."
'Shabba' maintains Chiefs have adapted successfully to coastal conditions in the past.
"I don't see us struggling again on Saturday because of altitude. We played in Durban in the past and we adapted well," Tshabalala said.
Having gone two seasons without winning any silverware, Tshabalala is aware their fans have heavy expectations.
"It has been a tough two seasons at the club in terms of not winning any silverware, but once again an opportunity has presented itself for us to compete and bring in a trophy," Tshabalala said.
"I think AmaZulu have done well. They are a team that needs to be respected, but for us we want to go all the way and this is the big hurdle that we need to overcome and make sure that we win the match."
