Argentina legend Diego Maradona says he intends to return to coach his former club Newell's Old Boys after masterminding a 4-0 drubbing over the Primera Division side.
Maradona, 59, received a heroes welcome at the side he represented during the 1993/94 season prior to the clash against Gimnasia de La Plata.
Gimnasia, the club he was appointed as manager last month, failed to register a single victory all season prior to his arrival.
But with their latest win, his second three points in five games, they have seemingly been inspired by Argentina icon - who also expressed his desire to return to Newell's in future.

After the game, the 1984 World Cup winner reflected on the bitter-sweet victory and his ambitions for the rest of the season.
"I have a broken heart because I know I'm coming back here. My heart tells me that I will return because I want to train Newell's," he said, as per The Mail.
"I arrived and found a drained squad. And here, nobody beats me. I turned it around. He who does not want to train, will not play anymore. He who has pain, infiltrate.
"Today we had no mistakes and my players covered all places for good Newell's players and that's why we won. This match was played wonderfully well."
