A range of exciting signings occurred in recent days, including a few shock transfers. Here's a look this week's biggest completed deals involving the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and FC Barcelona!
Having suffered a few disappointments in the transfer market already, Chelsea are finally beginning to pick up speed in the window, having secured two new additions this week.

On Tuesday, the Stamford Bridge outfit confirmed the back-to-back acquisitions of teenagers Gabriel Slonina and Carney Chukwuemeka from Chicago Fire and Aston Villa, respectively. Both youngsters have penned six-year deals with the Londoners, but the former will remain in the United States on loan until January 2023.
The Blues' rivals Arsenal, meanwhile, confirmed left-back Nuno Tavares' departure in a season-long loan move to Olympique Lyon in France.
He is not the only big name to make the switch to Ligue 1 this week, with former Gunners' playmaker Aaron Ramsey, joining Nice on a free transfer after his contract at Juventus was terminated by mutual consent towards the end of July.
He will be joined there by Denmark goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, who has sealed a, perhaps surprising, switch away from Leicester City. The Dane spent 11 years with the Foxes, racking up more than 450 appearances in the process.
Another shock move that occurred this week saw talented midfielder Riqui Puig leave Barcelona to move across the Atlantic Ocean to join Los Angeles Galaxy.
The 22-year-old has signed a three-and-half-year deal with the California outfit, while Barca reserve the right to repurchase the player and will also receive 50% of any future sale, the Blaugrana confirmed in a club statement.

French giants Paris Saint-Germain also announced Portugal international Renato Sanches as their latest recruit. The midfielder has signed a deal until 2027 at the Parc des Princes after the Parisians fended off interest from AC Milan for his signature.
The Serie A reigning champions did manage to land a star of their own, though, having confirmed the arrival of Belgian attacker Charles De Ketelaere from Club Brugge on a five-year contract – you can see more of this week's completed transfers in the gallery up top!
