snl24.com/kickoff chatted to Leopards' Chief Thidiela about the trip and what Lidoda Duvha will be coming against tomorrow.
"We have Nkhatha with us, because there are things that still need to be finalised (with Kaizer Chiefs), so he still has a contract with us until we officially hand him over," he says.
Thidiela says facing Al Merreikh is like facing a "Sudanese national team" because quite a few of the team's players turn out for their country.
"We will be playing a strong team, because they have a lot of players in the Sudanese national team and they also have a striker from Zambia (Jonas Sakuwaha), so we are not taking this lightly," he says.
The clash promises to be a grueling encounter for the Limpopo side as they face a side that has amassed 18 Sudanese Premier League titles and fell at the last hurdle of the Confederations Cup in 2007 when they finished second after losing to 5-2 on aggregate to Tunisia's CF Sfaxien.
Thidiela further says Leopards have not suffered any ill-treatment, something that the visiting teams have to contend with around Africa.
"We arrived on Thursday night and we have been treated well. As for training, we have to do it at night at 21h00 because it is too hot," he says.
The fixture will take place at Al Merreikh Stadium, with kick-off set for 19h00pm South African time.
