Mbappe 'becomes' football Michael Jordan

Following the release of their third kit earlier this week, Paris Saint-Germain have now released a special sneaker collaboration with Air Jordan.

The story

PSG debuted a brand new black third-kit for the 2023/24 campaign in a UEFA Champions League game against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday. The release is now a third collection between the club and the Jordan brand, however, this time the range not only consists of clothing but it also features a fresh release of the Air Jordan 6 Low in a grey and black colourway as well as the Jumpman 3 Peats in white contrast stitching and an orange Jumpman.

The face of the campaign is unsurprisingly Kylian Mbappe, with the Parisian captain joined by teammates Presnel Kimpembe, Marquinhos, Warren Zaire-Emery, and Danilo Pereira.

In a recent interview, Mbappe revealed that the owner of the brand and basketball legend Michael Jordan is indeed one of his idols, according to Essential Sports. The France superstar said: "When you grow up, you admire a lot more people, even in other sports. That's Michael Jordan, there's only one."
