BREAKING: Mane joins forces with Ronaldo in Saudi

Sadio Mane has now officially ended his Bayern Munich nightmare and completed a lucrative transfer to the Saudi Pro League, where he will play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.

The reigning CAF Men's Player of the Year is the latest big name in world football to arrive in the Middle East, with Al Nassr having announced the 31-year-old as their latest marquee acquisition.

The forward has signed a four-year deal with the Knights of Najd, and will reportedly earn €40 million (R783 million) a year with the team after completing a medical on Monday evening.

Mane leaves Bavaria after what was a tumultuous season with the German giants in which he scored just 12 times, and struggled with a leg injury.

The relationship between the Bundesliga club and the player seemingly began to fall apart after his physical altercation with Leroy Sane in April following a UEFA Champions League encounter, though, with Bayern reported to have been looking to sell him ever since.

With the German giants believed to have to received £24 million (R547 million) from the west African's sale, the ex-Liverpool man will now move to Riyadh, where he will join up with other established names such as Ronaldo, Marcelo Brozovic, Seko Fofana and Alex Telles.

Having just missed out on the league title last season, Al Nassr will be hoping signings like that of Mane will help end their four-year wait for the SPL trophy.
