Muller: Lewandowski, we are coming for you and Barca

With Barcelona on the verge of an exit from the UEFA Champions League ahead of their match against Bayern Munich, Thomas Muller has sent a light-hearted warning to his former teammate Robert Lewandowski.

The LaLiga giants have to secure a win over the Bavarians in their clash on Wednesday night, and hope that Inter Milan drop points in their tie against Viktoria Plzen, to keep their faint hopes of progressing to the competition's knockout stages alive.

With the Nerazzurri's fixture scheduled to start about two hours earlier than Barca's, it is possible the Spanish giants' fate could be sealed before they kick off against the Bundesliga club.

Prior to the Catalan giants' 2-0 defeat to Julian Nagelsmann's team in September, Bayern forward Muller cheekily claimed that Sadio Mane had reminded him to not pass to Lewandowski as they are now on opposing teams.

The Germany international has now jokingly sent a warning to his former teammate via social media ahead of their match at the Camp Nou.

"Lewa, we are coming!" Muller said with a laugh in a video on Instagram.

After Barcelona spent a large amount of money to bolster their squad in the most recent transfer window, reports have suggested that manager Xavi Hernandez is under intense pressure, with club president Joan Laporta said to now be having reservations about the Spaniard's ability taking the club forward.
