Serie A wrap: Genoa safe, Lecce relegated to Serie B

Genoa will be playing in the Serie A once again next season following a 3-0 success over Hellas Verona.

The hosts enjoyed an impressive first half as two goals from Antonio Sanabria and further strike from Cristian Romero was enough to avoid the drop.

Lecce bid farewell to the top flight on Sunday night after a 4-3 loss to Parma.

A Fabio Lucioni own goal and Gianluca Caprari put Parma 2-0 up insides 25 minutes before Lecce restored parity before the interval through Antonín Barák and Biagio Meccariello.

However, Parma took control in the second and went 4-2 ahead thanks to goals from Antonín Barák and Biagio Meccariello while Lecce's fate was already sealed despite a late strike from Gianluca Lapadula.

Simone Zaza rescued a point for Torino after cancelling out Mattias Svanberg's first-half strike in a 1-1 draw at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara.

Udinese ended the campaign on a positive note, with Stefano Okaka's 53rd minute strike securing a 1-0 victory over Sassuolo.

Fiorentina finished the season with back-to-back wins following a 3-1 triumph at relegated SPAL.

Alfred Duncan put the visitors ahead on 30 minutes before Marco D'Alessandro levelled matters.

With the seemingly headed for a draw, Christian Kouame and Eric Pulgar popped up with the second and third goals respectively in the final five minutes.
