Man Utd's asking prices for Sancho, Maguire & Martial 'revealed'

Manchester United have reportedly named their asking prices for Jadon Sancho, Harry Maguire and Anthony Martial as they get ready for a clearout.

There have been no new arrivals at Old Trafford so far in this window as the club currently finds itself caught in a bidding war between two new potential owners.

This is understood to have a bearing on how they proceed in the transfer market as their budget for the window would become much clearer if either British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe or Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani of Qatar takes over the reins from the Glazer family.

For now, it seems the Red Devils are focused on offloading those players who are out of favour in the team, with Sancho, Maguire, and Martial reportedly being considered sellable assets.

According to the Daily Mirror, the Red Devils want £45 million (R1 billion) for Sancho, whom they bought for £73 million (R1.7 billion) from Borussia Dortmund in 2021.

The winger has failed to live up to expectations since joining, and also spent some time away from the first team to help rediscover his form last season.

Captain Maguire is also likely to be a casualty of the clearout, with the Manchester outfit said to have slapped a £40 million (R945 million) price tag on him.

The England international has fallen down manager Erik ten Hag's defensive pecking order, with the Dutch boss seemingly preferring the centre-back partnership of Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane, while he has also shown more trust in Victor Lindelof and even Luke Shaw at times in the absence of his first-choice central defenders.

United have also reportedly set Martial's price at £25 million (R591 million) as they look to get some money in before securing deals for players they have been heavily linked with, such as Mason Mount and Declan Rice.
