The 29-year-old midfielder has signed a two-year contract that will keep him at the club until June 2027, with an option to extend.
Speaking at Maart’s unveiling, Fiala provided detailed insight into the decision to bring the former Amakhosi captain to SV Ried.
"We are very happy that Yusuf has chosen SV Oberbank Ried, we have been observing him for some time and are convinced that he is a perfect fit for our playing style," Fiala told the club's media department.
"Yusuf is a very complete midfielder, he can steer the game, is strong in duels, is willing to run hard, and also has a good eye for his teammates.
"He also brings leadership qualities that will be beneficial to our young team. His international experience and his always-winning mentality were crucial factors for us in this signing."
Maart, who also had a stint with Sekhukhune United before his time with the Glamour Boys, shared his excitement about the new chapter in his career.
"This is a great opportunity for me to play here in Europe, i'm really looking forward to gaining new experiences," Maart said.
