Liverpool move four points clear with late winner

Nottingham Forest 0-1 Liverpool

Liverpool moved four points clear at the top of the Premier League table after defeating Nottingham Forest 1-0 on Saturday evening.

Second-half substitute Darwin Nunez popped up with the winning goal in the 98th minute with a glancing header.

The victory sees the Reds sit four points above Manchester City and five ahead of Arsenal, who are only in action on Monday.

Brentford 2-2 Chelsea

Chelsea struck late in the second half to earn themselves a 2-2 draw at Brentford.

Nicolas Jackson gave the visitors the breakthrough in the 35th minute with a powerful header from Malu Gusto's cross.

The Bees hit back in the second half, as Mads Roerslev slammed home from close range after Sergio Reguilon's shot was blocked.

Brentford then took the lead with 20 minutes as Yoane Wissa found the back of the net with a superb acrobatic effort.

The Blues had the final say when defender Axel Disasi rose well to head home a cross from Cole Palmer.

Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 Crystal Palace

Tottenham Hotspur got back to winning ways in the Premier League with a 3-1 triumph over Crystal Palace.

The Eagles broke the deadlock in the 58th minute courtesy of a superb free-kick from Eberechi Eze.

Timo Werner brought Spurs level with 13 minutes remaining, before Cristian Romero put the home side ahead in the 80th minute.

Captain Son Heung-Min made the points safe in the 88th minute with his 12th goal of the campaign.
