Official: Mohamed Salah confirms where he'll be playing in 2022/23

Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah has revealed where his immediate future lies, amid reports he could leave Anfield in the next transfer window.

The Egyptian has been widely linked with a potential move away from Anfield throughout the 2021/22 campaign as his contract is due to expire at the end of next season.

Here are eight African stars who could soon be on the move in Europe!

A number of Europe's biggest clubs, including Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, are rumoured to be interested in the Egypt star's services, which has led to speculation that the Merseyside club may choose to cash in on the 29-year-old in the next few months to avoid the risk of losing him on a free next year.

However, when the forward was asked on Wednesday afternoon about his contract situation at the club, he confirmed he will still be with Jurgen Klopp's side for the 2022/23 campaign.

"In my mind, I don't focus on the contract at the moment," the winger said in a press conference ahead of the Reds' UEFA Champions League final against Real Madrid on Saturday, per LiverpoolWorld.

"I even said that two months ago. It's all about the team now, it's a really important week for us.

"I'm just focused on the team. I just want to win the Champions League again, I want to see Hendo [Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson] with the trophy again and hopefully give it to me after.
