A certain Manchester City star has reportedly asked to leave after rejecting a new contract with the club.
Julian Alvarez has only been with the Citizens for two years following his move from Argentine giants River Plate in 2022.
However, it seems the 2022 World Cup winner is looking for new environment to get regular minutes ahead of the new season.

According to El Chiringuito, Alvarez has now turned down a new contract that would have kept him at the club until 2028.
The Argentine has been second choice to Erling Haaland in the past two seasons, but did get a few games when Kevin de Bruyne was out injured last campaign.
The report adds that Alvarez has asked the club to set a 'logical' asking price for potential suitors in the current transfer window.
Various reports suggest Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid are keen on the 24-year-old.
The Argentine striker was asked about his future just before the Copa America got underway last month.
"These are things that are said, but I am calm, I am comfortable and happy at City. We will see what happens," he told ESPN.
