With Sekhukhune United goalkeeper Renaldo Leaner having been named in the latest Bafana Bafana squad, another South African shot-stopper has suggested that it's about time foreign goalkeepers stop dominating the PSL.
Leaner could be on course to make his Bafana debut when they face Tanzania and Mozambique in two international friendlies on 6 and 10 June, respectively.

The Sekhukhune number one enjoyed another solid campaign, conceding just nine goals in nine matches across all competitions this season, in addition to keeping two clean sheets, according to Transfermarkt.
The 27-year-old also played a key role in helping Babina Noko secure a fourth-place finish in the Betway Premiership.
One of his standout performances came in a Nedbank Cup clash against Mamelodi Sundowns in March, where he made an impressive nine saves and was named Man of the Match.
His performances have not gone unnoticed, with Hugo Broos selecting him alongside Sipho Chaine of Orlando Pirates and SuperSport United’s Ricardo Goss.
Meanwhile, fellow South African goalkeeper Jethren Barr has seemingly voiced his frustration over the fact that Leaner had to play second fiddle to foreign goalkeepers for a long time before finally receiving the recognition he deserves.
Barr posted a picture of Leaner on X and wrote: "I respect this guy, quality goalkeeper who was sitting in the stands watching two 35-plus-year-old foreigners play ahead of him.
"[He is] now in Bafana Bafana.
"That’s the reality of being a SA goalkeeper, sitting in the stands for foreign GKs who are below par 90% of the time."
