African star 'agrees' to join Bayern

An African star has reportedly agreed to join Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich with just a few days left in the transfer window.

Senegal international Nicolas Jackson is no longer in coach Enzo Maresca's plans at Chelsea this season, despite being the club's main striker for the last two seasons.

According to German publication, Bild Sport, Jackson has reached a preliminary agreement with the Bundesliga giants ahead of transfer.

Jackson last played for the Blues at the FIFA Club World Cup, but the arrival of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro, has seen the Senegalese forward drop down the pecking order.

The report adds that Bayern are now negotiating with the Premier League to finalise a deal before the transfer window closes on Monday night.

Jackson joined the Blues from Villarreal in 2023 and has gone on to register 30 goals and 12 assists in 81 appearances while he has also won the UEFA Europa Conference League and the Club World Cup.
