Algeria national team boss Djamel Belmadi reportedly had a bizarre request for Riyad Mahrez and Said Benrahma upon their arrival for international duty this week.
After dyeing their hair recently, it is has been claimed that Manchester City's Mahrez and West Ham United's Benrahma were instructed to get rid of their blond hair as it is deemed to not be a "respectable style" by their national team boss, per Algerian news outlet Dzair Daily.

Algeria are set to take on Djibouti and Burkina Faso in 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers over the next few days, and Belmadi is said to have laid down the law as he wants his players to "sport a respectable style without frills that reflects the traditions and customs of Algerian society".
It is believed that this is not the first time the tactician, who is understood to be quite the disciplinarian, has ordered one of his stars to change their hair colour, having reportedly told defender Ilias Hassani to cut his blond locks off in an incident back in 2018.
