Lorch has been making widespread headlines due to his impressive performances at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

After he was lauded for posing serious goal threats against Manchester City in the first game, Lorch followed that up with a stunning strike against another European giant, Juventus, in the second game.
As such, questions about his future have started to grow, as his loan spell at Wydad from Mamelodi Sundowns is due to end very soon.
Reports in Morocco claim that Wydad are desperately trying to retain Lorch and have been in negotiations with Sundowns for quite some time.
A new report by AfricaFoot.com claims that a price has been set for Lorch.
The publication claims that Sundowns are demanding €1 million (approximately R20 million) to sell Lorch permanently.
Moreover, it is reported that Sundowns were initially looking to sell the player for around €500,000 (approximately R10 million), but their valuation of the Free State-born star has since doubled amid the Club World Cup.
Lorch is expected to feature during Wydad's final game at this year's Club World Cup against Al Ain at 21:00 South African time.
