An update on Percy Tau's potential move to Zamalek SC has reportedly emerged.
Tau’s future remains uncertain following his departure from Qatar SC at the end of last season.
The Bafana Bafana star returned to South Africa, and his search for a new club has been ongoing for some time.

The 31-year-old has been primarily linked with two clubs during this period — South African giants Kaizer Chiefs and Egyptian heavyweights Zamalek.
The latter are said to be aware of Tau’s availability, with reports indicating that Zamalek have long admired the attacker and at one stage considered him an ideal replacement for the departed Ahmed Zizo Sayed.
With preparations for the 2025/26 season now underway in Egypt, fresh details have surfaced regarding the Zamalek–Tau situation.
Egyptian sports outlet Btolat reports that a source informed them: "Percy Tau’s name was presented to Zamalek as an option, but we have not reached an agreement with him or decided to sign him.
"Foreign signings are being assessed very carefully, especially since any new foreign arrival would mean one of the current foreign players must leave, as the club already has four foreign players.
"There is also the matter of the Cheikhou Bamba signing."
