Ronaldo, who scored 25 goals this season for Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr, is rumored to be nearing the end of his stint with the Riyadh-based outfit.
The 40-year-old superstar has been linked with several clubs participating in the Club World Cup, including Al Ahly.
However, according to Elwatan News, Al Ahly official Mohamed Serag El-Din has denied any knowledge of such a move, stating the club is unaware of any discussions involving Ronaldo.

Ronaldo has also been linked with Moroccan champions Wydad Athletic Club, another Club World Cup participant. However, the Botola Pro League side has reportedly dismissed the rumours, citing financial limitations that would prevent them from signing a player of his stature.
As speculation continues, it remains unclear whether the Portuguese legend will make a move to one of the Club World Cup participates, should he part ways with Al Nassr.
