Josef Zinnbauer's JS Kabylie have reportedly beat Sead Ramovic's CR Belouizdad for the signing of a French Ligue 1 star ahead of the new season.
According to AfricaFoot, Kabylie have won the race to sign midfielder Zinedine Ferhat on a free transfer.

The 32-year-old is a free agent after parting ways with Ligue 1 outfit Angers SCO at the end of the 2024/25 season.
The report claims that Kabylie are now closing in on their midfield target following negotiations in recent days, which included making an offer that the player's camp deems decisive, both "financially and sportingly".
Ferhat was a regular in the French top-flight last season after making 24 appearances while registering two goals as well.
AfricaFoot added that Belouizdad were left stunned as they thought their offer would be enough to persuade the midfielder, who is now seemingly set to join their Ligue 1 rivals.
Ferhat spent most of his career in France and Turkey, but does have a lot of experience in the Algerian top-flight, having racked up 125 appearances for USM Alger before he left for Europe in 2016.
