The former Al Ahly boss has been without a job since parting ways with Persian Gulf Pro League side Esteghlal FC after not receiving his wages together with his technical team for months.

With reports consistently indicating that Zamalek are contemplating the possibility of hiring Mosimane, reports in Egypt now suggest that another club in the same nation is interested in him.

According to the Egypt Telegraph, Egyptian Premier League outfit Al-Masry have shortlisted several coaches, with the South African mentor also being considered for the job.

The abovementioned publication claims that Al Masry are on the verge of sacking their current manager Anis Boujelbene due to poor results. The Tunisian tactician joined the club in February this year.

Amongst coaches who have reportedly been on the wanted list alongside Mosimame, include Ayman El-Ramady, Mimi Abdel Razek, and well-known Portuguese gaffer Alexandre Santos.
