According to a report from the continent, Orlando Pirates' promising young star Mbekezeli Mbokazi has attracted interest from one of the African football giants.
The 19-year-old defender is seemingly beginning to draw significant interest from African top clubs, and Al Ahly are reportedly exploring the option of signing him.

Mbokazi has been incredibly impressive for the Sea Robbers since he was promoted to the Soweto giants' senior team from the DStv Diski Challenge in October last year.
The bulky defender never looked back after he was given a chance after Pirates, then under former coach Jose Riveiro, who is said to be the new Ahly manager, had encountered injury problems in their defense.
According to the report, Ahly's primary objective is to replenish their squad so they can be competitive in the upcoming 2025 FIFA Club World Cup and they see Mbokazi as one of the suitable players to bolster the team.

The report highlighted that the Egyptian Premier League giants are really considering negotiating to sign Mbokazi, particularly if he may be eligible to be registered on the under-age list.
It remains to be seen if Mbokazi will reunite with his former manager Riveiro, who is yet to be unveiled by Ahly.
