Speaking to KickOff.com, Football Kenya Federation have addressed rumours concerning head coach Benni McCarthy possibly leaving the team for a Betway Premiership switch.
The Sea Robbers are searching for a new coach with Jose Reveiro leaving the club, while the future of Nasreddine Nabi at Kaizer Chiefs reportedly remains uncertain.
McCarthy is currently in his first term with the Harambee Stars, having arrived with his four-member South African coaching team under a contract that lasts until 2027.

Recent media reports have suggested that the former Buccaneers striker might leave Kenya for a job in the Betway Premiership.
Since returning from England, the former ex-Manchester United striker coach has been linked with several teams including Bucs and Amakhosi.
Nevertheless, amid speculations regarding McCarthy's future, FKF Head of Communications Jeff Kinyanjui has briefly refuted the claims, stating that the coach will not be leaving.

"Benni is still contracted to the Football Kenya Federation as the Harambee Stars coach," Kinyanjui told KickOff.
When asked if McCarthy possibly sought to resign from the Harambee Stars or if the federation received any notifications about his supposed exit, Kinyanjui replied: "No, we haven’t received anything, Benni is contracted to the FKF."
