A former Ghana star has hailed Kaizer Chiefs ahead of their upcoming 2025 Toyota Cup clash against Asante Kotoko.
This Saturday, Chiefs will face Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
It marks the second edition of the Toyota Cup, with the inaugural fixture having taken place last year in Mangaung, where Chiefs lost to Tanzanian giants Young Africans SC.

The match is understood to be Amakhosi's final pre-season fixture following the completion of their tour of the Netherlands last week.
In the build-up to the clash, Chiefs and Asante Kotoko joined forces in a special initiative, with the likes of Siyabonga Nomvethe and Stanton Fredericks in attendance as the two clubs worked to strengthen ties.
Also speaking at the event was former Ghana and Ajax Cape Town star Anthony Baffoe, who applauded the collaboration between the two African heavyweights.
According to Africa Top Sports, Baffoe said: "This is more than a match. It’s a movement.
"The Toyota Cup presents a unique opportunity for African clubs to build strategic relationships and elevate the standard of football on the continent. It’s about more than the 90 minutes on the pitch.
"When two giants like Kaizer Chiefs and Asante Kotoko come together in this way, it sends a powerful message that African clubs can lead their own evolution.
"We salute Kaizer Chiefs for taking this bold step, and we look forward to what this can spark across the continent."
