Mpeta spent the past season on loan at Stars from SuperSport United with an option of an outright buy.
The latest information reaching snl24.com/kickoff is that Dikwena have now taken up the option of a permanent deal as confirmed by Senzo Mazingiza, the club’s general manager.
“We are taking him outright,” confirms Mazingiza talking to snl24.com/kickoff.
“We had an option for a permanent transfer. It is now done and he has signed the contract on a permanent transfer as of Friday."
Mpeta managed 11 appearances in all competitions last season.
The 27-year-old initially played for Dikwena when he broke into the PSL before being snapped by SuperSport who have since moved him back to where they acquired him from.
