Khuzwayo played his last game for Chiefs in the 2-1 win over Ajax Cape Town on the weekend, getting a rare opportunity in the absence of injured first-choice goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune.
The 28-year-old decided to leave Amakhosi as a free agent due to limited game-time, having only played 37 matches in six years with the Soweto giants.
According to a well-placed source, Khuzwayo has agreed a deal with Pirates.
“Brilliant Khuzwayo is going to Pirates and the deal was done a long time ago,” the source tells this website.
Khuzwayo, who only played three times this campaign, won the league twice, the MTN8 and the Nedbank Cup with the Glamour Boys.
