"That was at Arcadia Shepherds in Caledonian Stadium. Stan Laporte was the coach. Deshi Bhaktawer, Thomas Hlongwane…they were all there.
"But my welcome to the league moment I got it from "Chicco" Lawrence [Ronald Lawrence].
"I was playing the same position as him. He will make it a point that he'd come hard if we go for a 50/50 ball.
"Chicco Lawrence was the darling of the team.
"I remember on one occasion I tried to mark him but fouled him by mistake, hey man, the training session was stopped, and I was reprimanded by everybody.
"But when he did the same to me there was co-complaint…everything was fine. The attitude wasn't nice."

"I couldn't stop him. So, I chased after him when that failed, I started kicking him.
"He ended up responding 'Hey Baba here we are playing football man'.
"My response was 'Ja you must also stop being a nuisance. How can you dribble me like this?'
