Cypriot First Division side Aris Limassol have officially confirmed the acquisition of Mihlali Mayambela on a free transfer from Farense.
Earlier this week, Limassol confirmed that the club has acquired the services of South African winger Mihlali Mayambela ahead of the 2022/23 season.
As previously reported by snl24.com/kickoff, the 25-year-old has penned a two-year-deal with the club and has already begun training with his new teammates in a camp in Latvia.
He is the third South African player to represent Aris Limassol after Roger Da Costa and former Bafana Bafana international Ricardo Nunes.
Mayambela scored four times in 28 appearances for Farense last season, prior to which he enjoyed loan spells with Académica de Coimbra in Portugal and Bnei Yehuda in Israel.
He also spent three years in Sweden where he turned out for Djurgårdens – a club where brother Mark Mayambela also played – Degerfors and IK Brage.
