The centre-back clinched his second successive Romanian SuperLiga title last month, in as many seasons.
The 27-year-old was also named in the 2024/25 SuperLiga Team of the Season and recognised as FCSB's best defender this term.
His performances have also earned him regular appearances for Bafana Bafana, having previously never represented his national team before his move to FCSB in 2023.
A value update by the football data platform Transfermarkt now indicates that Ngezana’s value has increased by €1 million (approximately R20 million).
This takes his total value to €3.5 million (approximately R71 million), placing him seventh among the most valuable players in the Romanian top flight.
Ngezana is also the joint-second most valuable South African footballer, alongside Bongokuhle Hlongwane of Minnesota United.
Only Burnley striker Lyle Foster is worth more than the two aforementioned players, with a value of €6 million (approximately R121 million).
