Following Shandre Campbell’s goal for Club Brugge on Saturday, the Jupiler Pro League released a list of South African stars who have found the net in Belgium’s top flight since the 2000/01 season.

The Bafana Bafana hopeful marked a major milestone by scoring his first goal in the Belgian Pro League, helping Brugge secure a win over SV Zulte Waregem in their 2025/26 season opener.
Topping the list released by the league is former Bafana midfielder Ayanda Patosi, who struck 21 goals while playing for KSC Lokeren.
Percy Tau, who recently joined Vietnam’s Thep Xanh Nam Dinh, scored 10 goals during his stints with Club Brugge and RSC Anderlecht, tying with Asanda Sishuba, father of rising star Ayanda Sishuba.
Lyle Foster, now at Burnley FC in the Premier League, also features with nine goals, matching the tally posted by the late Mamelodi Sundowns defender Anele Ngcongca, who played for KRC Genk.

More so, well-travelled South African midfielder Daylon Claasen also netted nine goals while doing the job for Lierse SK in Belgium.
The list also includes the late former Kaizer Chiefs right-back Jeffrey Ntuka, who found the net six times for KVC Westerlo.
