FIFA have confirmed the upcoming African 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers have been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifiers for CAF was set to commence next month with several nations in Africa setting out their final preparations.

Bafana Bafana confirmed yesterday that former Cameroon and AFCON 2017 winning coach Hugo Broos will be the man to lead them into Group G with Ghana, Zimbabwe and Ethiopia.

However, the schedule has now been postponed due to the disruptions of the pandemic on the continent, which was confirmed by the World Football Governing Body on Thursday.
