2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying: SAFA confirm return of 2000 spectators for Bafana Bafana clash

Bafana Bafana are set to go head-to-head with neighbours Zimbabwe at the FNB Stadium on 11 November and have received a welcome boost to their qualification hopes after it was confirmed that 2000 spectators would be in attendance.

The South African Football Association (SAFA) announced on Thursday that 1584 tickets would go on sale to the general public for the highly-anticipated fixture at a cost of R100 each, with all sales taking place online at ticketmaster.co.za.

All spectators hoping to attend the match must be able to provide a match day ticket, identification document and vaccination certificate in order to be allowed entrance to the venue to see Hugo Broos' side in action.

Ticket sales will open at 12:00 on Friday, 5 November, on a first-come-first-serve basis and it is anticipated that there will be high demand among supporters, with tickets having previously been "sold out" in just over an hour for last month's fixture against Ghana.
