The PSL has through the years been blessed with talented left footers who have provided thrills and left fans thirsty for more.
KickOff has selected arguably the best XI of the lot.
1.Roger Feutmba
No fear and no favour, the Cameroonian will remain the best left footer to play in the PSL and it not by chance that he stressed the much-loved Doctor Khumalo. The General was a master with the ball at his feet specialising in passing using the out footer from distance of his size 12 Adidas Copa Mundial, the only boot that he probably ever wore. He wasn't quick but had the brains that fed Sundowns their success in the early years of the PS era years. Case closed.
2.Siphiwe Tshabalala
Remains known worldwide for that opening goal at the 2010 World Cup. Shaba didn't have the captivating personality nor the headline-grabbing controversy about him but got the goals and assists in abundance. Some have jokingly referred to him as being one-legged but that goes to show how much he made use of his left foot.

3.Collins Mbesuma
For all the romance and extravagance that all others are praised for, Mbesuma did the part that counts the most in football – which is scoring goals.
4.Shakes Kungwane
A sweet left foot he had. Forever had deft touches on the ball and was the true definition of what was referred to as a cultured left foot. He had skills and tricks for days despite his chubby frame.

5.Scara Ngobese
Though he had tendency to be too luxurious a player in the modern game but was such a gift to football he was nicknamed Black Jesus. The late midfielder left lasting memories in domestic football.

6.Daine Klate
If in need of a serial winner winger who crosses and also scores then Matatazela would be the answer as he was productive and stuck to the basics and gave coaches what wins them matches instead of playing to the gallery without results. He was never flashy or fancy on the field except for the days when he tinted his hair in his early days while at SuperSport.
7.Robson Muchichwa
In his prime, Zumara's popularity was unmatched at Chiefs going up and down the left flank to deliver crosses into the box.

8.Isaac Shai
Such was Shai's multi-functionality down the left that he could do a job anywhere on the left flank and has assists and trophies to show for it.
9.Japhet Zwane
Put simple he is what was known as a traditional number 11 who stayed on the wing and thrived on providing the delivery into the box.
10.Lovers Mohlala
In his prime, Mohlala was a monster down the left flank though he had a tendency of being clumsy in the tackle. Played football with a carefree attitude the same way he talks now.
11.Thando Mngomeni
You won't get many that are as skillful as this lad. His biggest downfall was his lack of application. He played at a pedestrian pace but had one hell of an intelligent left foot. Class proper.
