Siphelele Ntshangase's lack of playing time explained

Just like at Kaizer Chiefs, Ntshangase has found gaining playing time tough at new side Marumo Gallants with just over 100 minutes through the three appearances.

At Chiefs, Ntshangase featured on just seven occasions in his last two seasons at Naturena before joining Marumo Gallants in seeking regular action.

"Look, when Ntshangase came to our team, was he active?" asks club official Rufus Matsena.

"So, we cannot have somebody like that coming into the team and then throw him into the deep end.

"You have to prepare him first, and that is what we are doing and that is what we have been doing.

"In life, everybody deserves a second chance. I mean everybody. It is just a question of being a work in progress and that is why when the time is right, he will be given a chance just like he did in the other game he scored a goal which is a positive.

"With the kind of training sessions that we are having it shouldn't be a problem for the players to be ready when games resume," explains Matsena.

The 28-year-old was offloaded by Chiefs in March last year and has also played for Baroka and Black Leopards in the past.
