New TS Galaxy signing Sbusiso Vilakazi has outlined his expectations for incoming Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder and Bafana teammate Bongani Zungu.
Mamelodi Sundowns recently completed the re-signing of Bongani Zungu as a free agent following his decision to return to home soil.
Zungu initially joined Sundowns in 2013 after impressing at Tuks. He would go on to win four trophies with the Brazilians before setting his sights on international football where he had spells in Portugal, France and Scotland.
Sibusiso Vilakazi meanwhile joined Masanwana in 2016 after being crowned the Premiership Player of the Season while at Wits.
During his six-year stay at Chloorkop, he accumulated five league titles, a CAF Champions League, two, Telkom KnockOut MTN8 titles and Nedbank Cup titles.
He recently joined TS Galaxy and hearing the news of Zungu's return to Sundowns, Vilakazi insists he expects former Amiens midfielder has come back even better.
"He's an amazing player," Vilakazi said.
"I used to feed off him in the national team. In terms of his thinking, in terms of his passing and his grinding in the middle of the park. He's an exceptional player.
"I'm looking forward to playing against him and hopefully, when that happens it will be at a cup final or a title decider."
