Former Maritzburg United midfielder Mpho Matsi has resurfaced at Stellenbosch FC after he left the KwaZulu-Natal side at the end of last season.
Matsi played for United on loan from Cape Town City last season.
The former University of Pretoria midfielder appeared for the league newcomers during a 2-1 friendly defeat to against Orlando Pirates in Cape Town yesterday.
According to a source close to the Western Cape club, the club will make a decision soon on whether to sign Matsi or not.
"Matsi is at Stellenbosch and played in a friendly game against Pirates on Wednesday," the source tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"The club will make a decision on him very soon."
