Baroka 1-2 Uthongathi

Baroka began their t after they surrendered an early lead in a 2-1 defeat against Uthongathi on Sunday afternoon at Baroka village.

Sifundo Dlamini gave Bakgaga an early lead from the penalty spot but Mfanafuthi Mkhize levelled matters for the Cane Cutters deep in the first stanza.

Bayzel Goldstone gave the visitors the lead on the stroke of half-time and that proved to be the winner.

University of Pretoria 0-0 Polokwane City

University of Pretoria and Polokwane City could not be separated after playing to a goalless draw in their opener on Sunday afternoon ABSA Tuks Stadium.

Rise and Shine will have a chance to get off the mark when they host Black Leopards in their next outing next Saturday.

Meanwhile, AmaTuks will be back in action looking for their first win next Sunday when they travel to Uthongathi.

Casric Stars 2-0 Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila

Casric Stars got off the mark in their first match after beating Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila 2-0 on Sunday afternoon at Solomon Mahlangu Stadium.

Casric bought the status of Free State Stars and relocated to Kwamhlanga in Mpumalanga.

The new kids on the block scored in either half as they stunned Tshakhuma.

After the sides could not be separated in the first stanza, Menzi Ndwandwe eventually snatched the winner for Umlilo nine minutes before time.
