Chibwe joined Baroka last year in July after parting ways with Polokwane City.
Now the 28-year-old keeper is on the road yet again after terminating his contract with Bakgakga a few weeks ago.
According to sources close to Baroka, Chibwe was handed his clearance certificate before the close of the transfer recent transfer window in January.
"Chibwe has left Boroka," a source revealed to KickOff.
"It proved difficult for him to get the regular number 1 jersey. It also cost him the place in the Zambian national team.
"But I believe they are still engaged in negotiations regarding a settlement fee.
"He was left with two years on his contract after he signed a three-year deal with the club last year."
