Now the Chilli Boys are looking forward to hosting Premiership games at their home base in Philippi for the upcoming season.
Speaking from Johannesburg, Koutroulis says that talks with the PSL regarding hosting games at Philippi Stadium are already underway.
“We are definitely going to play in Philippi Stadium next season. Philippi is hundred percent ready to host games but except the Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates games,” he tells snl24.com/kickoff.
“We spoke to the PSL and we are already making plans to increase the stadium capacity from 5 000 to 10 000 people. We want to make Philippi Stadium a hostile place for any team that comes to play there.”
