"Dean is happy they handed him an extended break until 2 July," the player's representative Grant Nieuwenhuys tells KickOff.
"He played in the play-offs, so is taking a bit of time off to spend time with his family and will be ready to go to Chiefs and fight for his place in the team.
"He is fully aware of that, we reminded him of that so he will be ready when he goes back."
