Chiefs grant new signing extended break

Solomons included a host of new additions made by the Soweto giants alongside Kamohelo Mahlatsi and Lehlohonolo Motlou from Swallows FC.

The 26-year-old defender has since returned home to Cape Town after competing in the PSL promotions play-offs with the Dube Birds.

"Dean is happy they handed him an extended break until 2 July," the player's representative Grant Nieuwenhuys tells KickOff.

"He played in the play-offs, so is taking a bit of time off to spend time with his family and will be ready to go to Chiefs and fight for his place in the team.

"He is fully aware of that, we reminded him of that so he will be ready when he goes back."

Amakhosi have also since welcomed back defender Sifiso Hlanti to training after recovering from an Achilles injury.
