Banyana replace Kgatlana with Motlhalo for Olympic qualifier with Equatorial Guinea

South Africa U-20 women’s national team striker Linda Motlhalo, from the High Performance Centre in Pretoria, has been drafted in as Kgatlana’s replacement.

Banyana face Equatorial Guinea in a 2016 Rio Olympic qualifier on Saturday at Makhulong Stadium in Tembisa. Kick-off is at 15h00.

Motlhalo was part of the U-20 squad that held Zambia to a goalless draw last weekend in Lusaka in a 2016 Papua New Guinea U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier.

She has already arrived in camp and will be training with the squad this afternoon at Nike Football Training Centre in Pimville, Soweto along with USA-based Jermaine Seoposenwe, who landed in South Africa on Wednesday evening.

Defender Kelso Peskin, who is also based in the USA, is yet to arrive.
