KickOff has learned that Orlando Pirates have renewed their interest in signing Stellenbosch FC midfielder Sibongiseni Mthethwa.
Mthethwa has been in fine form for Stellies this season and missed out on a Man of the Match award during the MTN8 semi-final match against Pirates played in Cape Town on Sunday.
The 28-year-old midfielder was on the radar of AmaZulu and Kaizer Chiefs during the off-season.

According to a source close to the Buccaneers, the club is also considering sending midfielder Siphelo Baloni to Stellenbosch on loan as part of the deal.
"Pirates were keen to sign Mthethwa at the beginning of the season. However, they were turned down by Stellenbosch.
"They are back again and have shown interest in signing the player for this season", said the source.
Pirates boost a number of central midfielders including Thabang Monare, Miguel Timm, Fortune Makaringe, Ben Motshwari and Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo.
However, Motshwari is still yet to feature for the Sea Robbers this season.
