Warning issued: We will see a different Sipho Mbule

Newly appointed club captain Nkosinathi Sibisi has offered insight into how new signings Oswin Appollis and Sipho Mbule are integrating into a title-hungry Orlando Pirates side.

The Buccaneers are gearing up to kick-start the defence of their MTN8 title with a quarter-final clash against Polokwane City to be played at Orlando Stadium on Saturday.

The match could also mark a competitive debut for the Sea Robbers' new recruits, who include, among others Sipho Mbule and former Polokwane City talisman Appollis.

Speaking at the launch of the MTN8 on Wednesday evening, Sibisi shared his thoughts on the duo.

"Oswin is a quality player," the centre-back said to the media at the event ahead of this weekends fixtures.

"He is going to add to what we already have. I think it's going to be a special game for him to play against his former team.

"I think he is looking forward to winning titles also with us, and it starts on Saturday against his former team.

"Of course he is happy, there is no reason not to be happy. He has come to win titles with us," Sibisi added on Mbule.

"That is another quality player, to mention him, he is the Master Chef, so we know what he is capable of, and I think we will all get to witness another Sipho Mbule at Pirates."

The match is scheduled to kick off at 15:00.
