Just a week after netting Sipho Mbule, Orlando Pirates have confirmed another major signing who has been the subject of transfer interest with links to all of the Big Three in South Africa.
Pirates announced on Wednesday morning that they had won the race for the signature of Appollis from Polokwane City.
The winger's transfer has been the subject of keen interest for the past two transfer windows, with both Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns having tried and failed to convince City to part ways with their talisman.

By his high standards, the player did not have a good 2024/25 season, contributing just two goals and one assist in 28 appearances.
That return was a far cry from the seven goals and five assists delivered from 31 appearances the campaign prior.
Where he has maintained his form has been in Bafana Bafana colours, where he came up with six assists and two goals as of end of March.
At the Buccaneers, the former Pretoria Callies man is expected to flourish given his ability and profile of the club he is joining.

He will be competing for a starting XI berth with the likes of Relebohile Mofokeng, Mohau Nkota, and Monnapule Saleng, if the latter stays.
