Orlando Pirates are racing against time to renew the contract of midfielder Deon Hotto amid interest from North Africa and Saudi Arabia.
The Namibian international joined Pirates during the 2020/21 season after enjoying a successful spell with Bidvest Wits.

Hotto's contract with the Mighty Buccaneers is set to expire next month after signing with the club in August 2020. Before signing with the Soweto Giants, the 34-year-old midfielder was on the wanted list of Mamelodi Sundowns but turned down the offer in favor of the black-and-white outfit.
According to a source close to Orlando Pirates, the club is set to meet with Deon Hotto after their last Betway Premiership match against Magesi at the Orlando Stadium on Wednesday.
"The issue of Deon Hotto is a little bit complicated. With a few weeks before his contract expires with Pirates, he has not signed anything with the club", said the source.
"Hotto is expected to meet with Pirates this week, and hopefully, he will stay with the club again next season. The club is keen to extend his contract even though the negotiations started very late", he added.
