The Zambian international left the Buccaneers at the start of the season for the Chinese Super League, where he signed for Henan Jainye.
However, snl24.com/kickoff has learnt that Chansa will be back in South Africa next week after negotiating a settlement with Henan, who got relegated at the end of the season.
An Africa Cup of Nations winner with Chipolopolo in 2012, Chansa first came to prominence when he joined Pirates from Power Dynamos in his homeland in 2004. He had a second stint with Bucs after some time in Sweden at Helsingborgs, before the switch to China.
It is thought that the 29-year-old favours a return to the PSL, despite interest from clubs in Russia and the United Arab Emirates.
